Wivenport Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Hi, I run an Exchange Server 2013 on a 2012 Server and I started to get the error message 906 which says "a significant portion of the database buffer cache has been written out to the system file". I know Exchange is RAM hungry and I have 16Gb of RAM on the server. I could add a little more since it's a VM but I'm not sure if that's the right solution. From what I found online, the right amount of Virtual Memory should be the RAM amount +10Mb which would be in may case 16394. The server has 13966Mb currently allocated but the Recommended size mentioned on the server is 5631Mb. What am I missing here? Or am I do exchange edb repair process? Thank you for your help!
