Windows 10 and Dot Net 3.5

Hi EduGeek,

 

We have come across an odd problem with one of our new Windows 10 PCs that hasn't happened with any of the other W10 ones we have in the school. In order to access the database software the school uses, the PC needs dotnet3.5 installed. On all other W10 PCs it has been able to either enable itself or allow us to go and do so ourselves without issue. However on this new PC it won't enable or install, we get the same error code: 0x800f0906.

 

It is connected to the domain and the internet fine, on the unfiltered part of the network so it can get full internet access, so we are not sure why this error code has appeared.

 

Any help would be much appreciated as it is urgent we get this working on this PC.

Have you tried using powershell to install?

 

DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:\sources\sxs

 

Point the source to your extracted Windows 10 iso.
