Just wondering how people manage IOS upgrade deployment on their mobile devices? (Specifically Ipads)

Currently were using Lightspeed MDM but there`s no way to stop IOS updates downloading to the device, and then pupils installing this. (There`s an option in Lightspeed to Download\Install IOS updates but not to stop them being downloaded to the device).

There's the caching server available in OS X which caches software updates on your local network but there isn't much in the way of options to actually manage updates.

IPSW.ME will tell you the latest signed version for your device and let you download the IPSW files as well.

I use Mosyle Manager for MDM and that tells me if an iOS update is available and with the premium version you can schedule the updates too. As stated above iOS 11.3 added the ability to defer iOS updates.
