Authentication certificate rejected locally Chromebook

My daughter cannot connect to her school wifi. I tried and followed the school's wifi instructions including "do not check" for CA certificate. We keep getting Network connection error, Authentication certificate rejected locally. No one at the school was able to figure out why she can't connect. She has a Samsung Chromebook 3. Any help would be appreciated.
