Google Classroom and Salamander new year process

Hi

 

This will be the first full year we have done with Salamander.

 

What I wondered was what happens to the previous years google classrooms come September? Do they get archived automatically so teachers just have the current years classes showing?

 

If they don't is there a way to automate this as I think more teachers will want a clean start but the option to view the odd one in archived classes.

 

Whats your new year process if you use salamander and google classroom?

I was told that they will be archived. If your not sure then get in touch with Salamander. I'm in the same position and that's what I'll be doing.

Have you checked that assumption with the teachers? Many here use multi-year Classrooms for GCSE groups, plus they have non-curricular Classrooms for lunchtime clubs.

 

To answer your question though, my understanding is you can have them archived or not at your choosing, just tell Salamander how you like it.
