Increase Screen Resolution Via Script - Windows 7?

Recommended Posts

Posted

Afternoon,

Hoping someone knows how this can be done... I have a family member who to put it bluntly cannot see much.

I want to create a script (icon) that they can double click on the desktop that will make the screen huge so they can see things better. Then double click another script (icon) that makes the screen go back to normal size.

So..

Script 1: Makes the screen large

Script 2: Turns the screen back to normal size

I have tried this by creating two user accounts on windows 7 and changing the resolution on one account. But it doesn't work, as it changes it for both users.

Any help you be GREAT...

This power shell script might work for you.

Just change the resolution at the bottom of the script

Function Set-ScreenResolution {

param (

[Parameter(Mandatory=$true,

Position = 0)]

[int]

$Width,

[Parameter(Mandatory=$true,

Position = 1)]

[int]

$Height

)

$pinvokeCode = @"
