Advert for IT Apprentice

Willowfield School is a state of the art building with high-tech facilities. We want to share our impeccable experience with an enthusiastic IT apprentice and help them develop their career within the IT sector.

We will teach you all the basics of a first line support technician. The role will be varied and interesting and will give you an opportunity to develop your IT skills and develop as a fully-fledged member of our ICT support team.

Your role will be to:

· Support preparation and maintenance of resources and support to staff and pupils

· Ensure timely and accurate design, preparation and use of specialist equipment/resources/materials as set out in instructions

· Monitor and arrange orderly and secure storage of supplies

· Update the ICT inventory as required

· Maintain ICT equipment, undertake simple repairs and report damages

· Check equipment for quality and safety

· Ensure that ICT equipment and software are available to support the teaching staff

· Assist in the demonstration of the safe and effective use of specialist equipment/materials

To apply you must have GCSE grade A-C (or equivalent ) in your maths and English) for which you will be asked to provide evidence of. You will be enthusiastic about learning new skills and be work ready.
