staylor1972 Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Hello I've finally taken the plunge and set out WDS server up to install via UEFI. The server seems to be working fine but i'm having issues using the client unattended installation. The issue I've run into is with the Disk Configuration section where I need to create the extra partitions. on some PC's it seems to only see 2 partitions instead of the 4 that I've stated in the unattend.xml file - i'm assuming these are the partitions that were already on the drive as it complains about them being MBR rather that GPT rather than It creating new ones. Here's what's in the file if some could have a quick look and point me in the right direction please: Never *DOMAIN* *PASSWORD* *ACCOUNT* 3 16 MSR 1 500 Primary 2 100 EFI true 4 Primary NTFS WinRE 1 1 DE94BBA4-06D1-4D40-A16A-BFD50179D6AC FAT32 System 2 2 3 3 NTFS Windows C 4 4 0 true OnError 0 4 en-US en-US en-US en-US en-US

staylor1972 Posted July 23, 2018 Author Posted July 23, 2018 Thanks for getting back to me Arthur. I've changed the MSR partition to 128 now but am still getting a problem. PC's that have been previously built via PXE come up asking Where do you want to install Windows and has the old MBR disks still present so wont install. What I've done is delete these two disks then tried to rebuild. It gets to the same screen asking me where do you want to install Windows and shows the 4 Partitions now but you have to click the next button in order for it to install. just wondering if there is a way for it to automatically delete the partitions that are already there and carry on the installation process without clicking next? It all worked fine when it was set up as PXE!
