Not a bad idea but it's not always a good idea to keep your personal details in such a device - in case some thieving git pinches it!

My fone has details like "Wife" prefixed by a space to put it at the top of my address book for the very purpose - I lost it in a holiday complex once and they phoned my folks 500 miles away who called my wife who told me... :p

When mobile phones were still quite expensive and mainly business tools I came home from visiting Coventry, around 40 miles away. My son asked me if I had my phone and I suddenly recollected putting it on my car roof whilst I looked at some paperwork. He then handed me my phone. A guy had found it, called "HOME" spoke to my son and dropped it off. :)

The only problem is that my phones (and SIM cards) are security locked and you can't get into them anyway without a certain amount of knowledge, and this tends to be beyond your run of the mill beat-bobby. I have even seen one (at an accident) ask a nearby school boy how to get into a phone to get contact details!

Well at least he knew his limitations and where to get the "expert" advice he needed :)
