Nova T6 crashed. Can't close it.

Nova T6 has crashed. I am remoting into SIMs from home. Message: sgd Staff TDraw Cell Data. I can't close it! Can't find it in the new long list in Task Manager. Tried turning off and on; logging out of SIMs etc. but every time I go back on the message is still there and will not close.

Help!

Thanks for directing me to this. I did see it - Helpful as it explains why it crashes but my issue is the fact that I now can't close NovT6 at all which I think is due to having remoted in. Wondering if there is a way?

The task is NT6.exe

 

Can you not reboot the remote PC?

 

Shutdown -r

 

Logging out of SIMS doesn't affect Nova.

 

Does the remote PC have two monitors?

Thanks for all your suggestions. Nova started working again after about 2 hours without me doing anything (I had just started arranging to go into work to access the computer I had remoted in to!).

And .. Yes .. it does have two monitors.

It sounds most probable that Nova was displaying something on the second monitor that you couldn't see. Perhaps alt+f4 would have closed it.

This happens to me a lot and I think it is due to using two monitors, although it also just happened on a single monitor when I had staff TTs open in separate windows and then changed to the band screen. The button appears and you click it and nothing happens!!

 

However - persevere. Keep clicking the ok button (a lot) and it will eventually disappear. It seems it has a kind of spasm and instantaneously creates a lot of error messages overlaying each other. They disappear to reveal another and it looks like they are not going, but they are.

 

All will be well...... now breathe!
