Afternoon,

I'm trying to change the zimbra admin port from 7071 to 'something' else so I can get into it remotely without needing to fight/approach our provider.

I've tried the zmlocalconfig -e idea but it doesn't appear to commit the changes :(

Please2help.

Thanks in advance.

As always, a great response webman.

Sadly, it doesn't appear so simple what with it re-writing the value back to 7071 on launch.

Shall approach the servicedesk and see what happens.

Thanks again for your time.

Yeah, sadly its not that I want it on another port for aestetic value, its our provider being untrusted to modify the firewall rules without screwing something else up!

Cheers nonetheless for your time.

@kmount

I played with this a while back. I was on Ubuntu and had apache running and used mod_proxy to get to the zimbra from good old 80 and 443. Saves messing with Zimbra ports
