fiza Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 We don't do it but as far as I know you tell gcds in the proxy address attribute field which attribute in AD contains the alias address and it gets added as an alias in g suite.
timbo343 Posted June 13, 2018 Author Posted June 13, 2018 I spelt addresses wrong... it had proxyadresses instead of proxyaddresses. Next question, how do we bring over groups and distribution groups? Maybe a job for tomorrow as ive been reading that an SAMLapp maybe required.
fiza Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 As long as the group/distribution group has an email address in AD it will get created and maintained when you make changes to the membership of the group in AD.. Just tick the groups box in gcds
timbo343 Posted June 13, 2018 Author Posted June 13, 2018 Yeah ignore my last post they are there under groups.
timbo343 Posted June 14, 2018 Author Posted June 14, 2018 Is there a way to see Contacts in GSuite that have been sync'd from AD wihtout having GMail configured? I'm trying to bring over some mail enabled contacts from AD but cannot find out where they are in GSuite?
