Thank you,
Guest Guest Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 For personal use when selling stuff on I’ve always used an Ubuntu Live disk. It has the ability to Zero pass the drive and also more secure methods of erasing
nadeem Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 I've always used dban.org (there is a free and commercial version)
elsiegee40 Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Teenage boy and a set of screwdriver bit heads. Keeps him out of mischief for hours taking them apart and scratching and bending platters. Failing that an electric drill straight through the drive.
nadeem Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 I was assuming that one objective was to have them in a reusable state afterwards! Otherwise I would have suggested a very big drill!
