Hi all,

We are taking the plunge and moving the bulk of our student (and possibly later, staff) files up to Onedrive. I've discovered the onedrivemapper script to connect a drive letter to a user's onedrive which is a real find, but I'm looking to disable users from using the Sync client as I'm sure we'll end up with copies of masses of data all over the place. Ideally I'd like it to not even appear on the Start menu or notification area but one step at a time!

Hunting around on the internet I can see plenty of ways to disable if for individuals on home PCs but have yet to locate a simple way of doing so for everyone, or even better by machine OU (I don't mind if staff sync to their staff laptop for example but not to desktops.)

Rather than reinvent the wheel, have any of you fine folks done this and if so, how? Any easy to follow guides you'd recommend?

We're Windows 10 if it makes a difference, currently LTSB 2016 but moving to 1803 over summer.

Cheers,

Kevin.
