Microsoft Windows Backup - Server backup error... The sytem cannot find the path...

Can anyone please decipher this error on my backups?

 

Error in backup of E:\Staff$\Planning\2017- 2018\IPC\Y3\Summer 1\Chocolate MTP\IPC\Art\ during write: Error [0x80070003] The system cannot find the path specified.

 

I'm presuming it just can't find the file... but then surely it just doesn't back it up... I've checked and the last 2 folders (IPC\Art) aren't in that directory admittedly, but files & folders get deleted all the time - why is it throwing its toys out of the pram about this one?

Some kind of corruption? Try scandisking the the effected areas.

Well, I've looked and those folders aren't there, so I do kind of understand what the backup error is saying.

 

It just seems strange that it is telling me there was an error trying to back something up that isn't there...

 

I have recreated them anyway, so I will see what happens overnight!
