Problems installing Google File Stream

I have an issue at a school where File Stream will not install on the laptops in the suite, but installs fine on the classroom laptops. On the suite laptops it installs, asks for username and password, then opens web browser and asks for username and password again and that's it, the browser is then blank, and file stream is not doing anything.

 

Classroom laptops are newer and win10, suite laptops are much older and win7.

 

Class laptops currently had staff as local admins (say nothing), suite laptops are power users

 

The suite laptops also have a load of group policies applied to restrict the pupils.

 

Suite laptops are also going though the LA smoothwall using pupil proxy, classroom laptops are using staff proxy settings.

 

Does anyone know what might be stopping File Stream from installing?

Are the older laptops Win 7 32bit? If so File Stream is not supported.

Just checked and they are 64bit
