[sims] Candidate Numbers Incorrect

We have a mess. Someone entered the Candidate Numbers into SIMS incorrectly after a mishap with sorting data to send them one row off. Sounds like the old "Student left but not picked up and the sorted data assumed to be correct" scenario.

 

How can we sort this out or are we in very deep trouble? People are coming to me in a panic but I have no input on candidate numbers or any idea how they are assigned so I'm referring them to the Exams Officer (which isn't helpful when one of the people asking is the Exams Officer!)

You should be able to edit the numbers in Exams Organiser via Tools > Allocate UCI & Exam Numbers. Then call the exam boards to get them rectified at their end....they are normally very helpful at this time of year.
