Hi everyone, hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend! Really thought I was going to be able to solve this issue myself but after spending a month on this I have had to turn to the experts. We have recently upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 LTSB 2016 which has gone perfectly. On my deployment server we had sccm 2012 installed but never really used/configured. With windows 10 i have noticed that when doing windows updates it fails to install "Configuration Manager Client (5.00.7804.1000) Error 0x80070643.. Not a big deal except that now our workstations are restarting randomly trying to install the "system update" and ignoring all of my GPOs to try and install outside of working hours.

I have removed SCCM from our deploy server which removed the roles, database, ad accounts etc but new images are still getting the update after a few reboots. Does anyone know how to stop this client being pushed out as this is really annoying, or at least stop the computers restarting randomly.

The message the clients get is a blue popup saying "Automatic restart scheduled" Your device will restart at (10 minutes from when update trys to install) to finish installing updates. Close to save your work or restart now to restart right away.

Many thanks in advance!
