Sc00by Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 We are currently investigating replacing our gate barriers with a paxton based system, ANPR and rollout out of staff id cards (students to come later). Visitor management is also high on the agenda and on trialing the Paxton NET2 software, which ticks every other box, seems a bit fiddly on how to manage visitors. Is there anyone out there that uses NET2 for visitor management, if so how do you run it, if not, are there any alternative programs that can integrate into paxton? The budget is tight and we don't want a full blown touch screen setup that they fill in them selves. The receptionist entering the details into the system and issuing a colored lanyard would be sufficient.
gsk Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 How many entry/exit points to the building do you have? Would something like EntrySign be suitable. Staff can use their existing paxton fobs to sign in and out. Entrysign will open the door closest to it if you want it to and save having the swipe twice.
