[sims] SYSMAN Reason 0 on Blank Database

I have double checked that the connect.ini file is pointing to the SQL Server and it's all correct. As it's a blank database, I need to add users and when trying to login to sysman; it gives me the reason 0 error. If I try some random login details it gives me Incorrect Username / Password which is quite strange.

 

Any thoughts?

Did you use dB attach to connect/restore to SQL? Just changing the server in the connect.ini file will cause this. I've got this when restoring a backup file and used the SQL management method I'm used to but dbattach had to be used.

 

Either that or you don't have the sysman username properly assigned to the new dB.
