jblackburnHWGA Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 I am running version 10.5 and have been for around a year. The website loads quickly and logs in ok but when we go to the myfiles, the my drives takes a long time to load up the available drives and then takes a long time to navigate through the folders. I'm talking about 3 minutes per folder. I tried running the 10.6 update to see if it helped but I ran into runtime errors. All I did was copy the files over The behaviour is happening regardless of connecting through localhost or through a device on 4g so i don't think its a connection thing. Once you get to a file it downloads very quickly or normally depending on your connection speed. The local host gets a 44mb in a 2 seconds. Any thoughts on how to speed up a bit. We never had the issue before but I don't use this as I use VPN to connect so I'm not sure when it stopped working correctly. I'm running on Server 2016 std its all up to date. The VM has 6 cores and 12gb ram as we run a few other things from this server Thanks Jason

jblackburnHWGA Posted April 30, 2018 Author Posted April 30, 2018 Its something to do with the VM!! I've loaded up a new vm with server 2016 and copied it over and it runs without issue. Very strange. I'm going to load up the sccm client and see if I can replicate the issue
jblackburnHWGA Posted April 30, 2018 Author Posted April 30, 2018 All updates have come down and its working without a problem. I've dropped the website to a separate server as it previously shared the server with loads of other web based stuff like online exams and the helpdesk. This way I can take a snapshot or at worst reload the whole thing quite quickly to resolve.
