Hi,

I was wondering whether any school uses G suite for education (google drive) to store pupil reports. The question is of course in light of the new GDPR compliance. We have some staff that share classrooms and they're not sure how to share their report writing without e-mailing reports to each other.

Thanks

It is GDPR complaint so I can't see why not.

We have a mixture. For primary we use Google Docs, print and send home. These documents are shared amongst staff and collaboratively built. For senior we use our MIS's parent portal to provide electronic reports. All the details for the report are stored by a number of teachers and HoY's in the MIS and then generated in to a PDF which sits in the cloud, accessible via the portal. I have no real concerns from a GDPR perspective with this arrangement. I can't see an issue from a GDPR perspective. I can't see any issue with your scenario.
