Unifi Security Gateway purchase

I`ve been testing Unifi now for the last few months to possibly replace our Meru WLAN, to setup, it seems great, to setup a Guest portal I need to buy the Unifi security Gateway https://www.ubnt.com/unifi-routing/usg/ is this all I need or buy I need to buy a Unifi switch as well?

You can do it with just the Access points as it's all done using the unifi software - we had a guest portal running like this before I replaced all the switches. All authentication and routing was done through our smoothwall.

Yeah just figured this out! Doh! I thought to setup RADIUS Auth you needed to buy this but I've enabled the "Hotspot" option for voucher based auth. Will test this out.
