Cafe credit system for staff and pupils

Good afternoon,

 

I have been asked to look at a system that will give staff and students a certain amount of free credit every week (not to be accumalted) for when they visit out onsite cafe.

 

Currently we have nothing in place other than a bog standard till and I don't have a clue where to start either.

 

Any ideas or pointers willbe greatly appreciated.
