Popular Post hughlorimer Posted April 23, 2018 Popular Post Posted April 23, 2018 So with just 32 days to go the DfE have published a beta toolkit. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/data-protection-toolkit-for-schools Good to see that edugeek is listed amongst the relevant resources! Lots of case studies and guidance on creating documents, though lacking in actual tools imho. Will be good to see the final version. 18
maturelady Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 (edited) Yes, we all know that it would have been better if it had come sooner, but I'm sure most of you that are already complying to the DPA will be reassured that you have been doing the right thing. The document has been passed by lawyers and ICO so it's a very good foundation now. The message is clear - May 25th is the start, not the conclusion. Compliance is subjective and by demonstrating that you are doing something is a huge step towards this. Feedback is invited. I hope you will help. Sorry - I posted too I've remove mine Edited April 23, 2018 by maturelady 2
DJ-1701 Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Just adding the letters GDPR to make this easier to search for. Also GDRP in case of a typo.
