Anothername Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Has anyone updated their websites Privacy Notice with GDPR info? Anyone have a template or sample of what they are putting to update this? Thanks. 1
jke Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 (edited) I'm also researching this, I will post findings if I find any relevant information. Starting here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/data-protection-and-privacy-privacy-notices Edited May 2, 2018 by jke
jmak Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Our DPO has provided templates - essentially the ones in the link in @jke's post, with a couple of suggestions for customisation. However, that page only gives examples for pupils and workforce. I would expect to need a separate notice for parents. There's nothing I can see in the .gov.uk template and the only reference in our customised template is: • Personal information about a pupil’s parents and/or other relatives (such as name, contact details, relationship to child)[/Quote] Is that enough? We collect parents' NI numbers and share them with the Education Welfare Benefits Office to establish whether the child is eligible for pupil premium/ free school meals.
