Training Provider

Apart from QA can anyone recommend a training provider please? I am looking for Cisco courses.

Global Knowledge? I’m getting some MS training through them in the next month, I don’t know if they do Cisco as well?

They do Cisco! Never used them though. Are they any good? Big problem is the course I want all seems to be in the South. Work won't pay for digs! Urgh!

I don’t know yet, this is the first time I’ve been sent on a course run by them and it’s not until the end of the month. Every other time I’ve had industry training, it’s been with QA.

The reason I can't use QA is that they cancelled the course and the next one isn't until October. Bit of a pain!

I have used Firebrand in the past, very good (albeit expensive) and the price includes digs!

I'm on the Global Knowledge course at the moment. I don't know if it'd be the same for Cisco courses (I'm on an MS one atm) but the class here is about a 50/50 split of people being physically here and connected over the internet. The trainer has a microphone around his neck, a couple of cameras in the class and is sharing his screen via Adobe Connect. That might be an option for you instead? Do the course from home?

 

Assuming you don't need physical access to a switch anyway.
