Has anyone else come across this? We had to send out a Google Form to all staff so used the "Send Form" option in Google Forms. It was sent to internal users but quite a few reported the email as being found in their spam folder.

We have our domain whitelisted in the Admin Console so no emails should end up in spam.

Any ideas why?

I'd check that email authentication is setup correctly. So pick a message and select "show Original Message". You pass SPF and DKIM (and ideally DMARC). Without DKIM it will go into SPAM by default.

If thats OK - you might find that the specific user has marked it as SPAM.

I'd avoid whitelisting your domain as that leaves you open to attack if you have one compromised account. If authentication is correctly configured, it should not be needed.

@rogerdnixon - It passed SPF, DKIM and DMARC

The email went into my Spam folder as well as a few other users. None of the users I spoke to had marked it as spam.

I'd suggest taking a look in Vault and seeing what it says + looking in the email audit logs. Also give Google support a call and they can work out from the full message details why a message has been marked as SPAM.

@rogerdnixon Vault showed 135 out of 152 emails were marked as spam. I talked to Google and their first line passed me onto a specialist who asked me to set up a spam rule at the domain level.
