Recommend a laptop

Hi,

 

I'm looking for a new laptop for myself. It's got to have a 17" screen and a dedicated gfx card. Budget is around £600. I've searched all the regular places..but can't find anything suitable.

 

If anyone has any suggestions..

You may find it cheaper, I had an older model than this and just quickly looked on ebay!

 

Medion are owned by Lenovo, so it's a name brand behind it.

 

I will say that mine is about 5 years old now, and a few of the plastics slits in the cooling vents have snapped off now, but still performs fine

17"? Say what? I think 14" is perfect and 15.6" is too big.

Well, it'd be a funny world if we were all alike, wouldn't it? I personally wouldn't want anything bigger than 13" but at the same time I accept that my use case is nowhere near the same as everyone else's use case.

I want a 17" as I will be using it for design/digitizing work it's for home use and wont be transported.. I use a 13" macbook at work.. I may consider a 15.6"

If it won't be transported, would a 20" AIO PC possibly be a option?

fair point my last 3 laptops have all had 17" screens as i find them easier to get on with and the size/weight dosent bother me that much (current laptop is i believe 4.5kg lol) i do use a 11" chromebook at home though for general surfing but find when i want to do anything serious a big screen is a huge help
