CBo Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Hi all Was wonder if anyone come across this issue when moving across to new server. It seems come up if there is attached solus 3 database or not. Dont have solus 3 install files handy either. Did manual creation of solus 3 deployment service which was straight forward but just came up with that error. Key not valid for use in specified state (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8009000B)
pubgrub277 Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 (edited) I think this is because the permissions on the machine keys folders and files is wrong. something like "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\Keys" or maybe "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys" (depending on server os). It will hold a number of files that SOLUS3 needs access too. I think you may need to take ownership/grant permission on each file individually first and not at a folder level too.
