Remind me, why do we install updates again? I thought it was to fix problems, but obviously this isn't the case.

If you're on DHCP you should be ok. I guess most Windows 7 machines are.

True, the chances are it won't really affect anything her. But still, why not get that issue fixed before you release the patch?

What about this bit?

 

After applying this update, a new Ethernet virtual Network Interface Card (vNIC) may be created with default settings in place of the previously existing vNIC, causing network issues. Any custom settings on the previous vNIC are still persisted in the registry but aren't used.

 

We have a vNIC on each machine for VirtualBox.
