MatthewL Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Was just reading another thread and it got me thinking about the NC10 I have sat in the attic, was perfect on XP but no longer any use due to updates, putting Windows 7 on is a bit slow, just thought other than Linux and a Chrome OS any other uses for it? Was tempted to make it into a Chromebook, any recommendations for a distro to do this? Unless there version of Windows 7/10 that would be ok for this.
Arthur Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Was tempted to make it into a Chromebook, any recommendations for a distro to do this? Neverware's CloudReady is good. I don't think there are any other Chrome OS distros that have automatic updates? I was also going to suggest Flint OS, but they were purchased by Neverware earlier this month.
