Netflix (SyFy in the USA) have got your back with their adaptation of "NightFlyers". There is an earlier adaptation starring Michael Praed that is probably only of interest to GRRM completists. Not sure how they can stretch this out to one season (let alone more, unless they take the end of the short story as the end of S1 and make stuff up from there), but we'll see.
