Was good in the late 80's 90's especially when grunge came along.

 

I'm sure I was in it in the early 90's. Hhhm can't remember.

I picked up a copy of the last issue yesterday. It's not difficult to see why it no longer appeals to anyone. Its heyday was the mid-late 90s in my opinion.

 

Slightly sad though that the editorial staff were given no notice so there is no hint within that it is the final issue.

Unlikely.

 

I have become interested in reading the first issue of NME that I ever bought though. Might need to avoid buying it though as that will become a slippery slope to re-buying lots of old magazines.

I always thought stuff would become collectable - but I've just ended up with a garage full of cr@p

 

Still you never know - old copies of Q, Wired and various comics might become valuable.....one day...

Those with a better chance of becoming valuable: Issue number 1, the final issue, those issues with topics/events of special interest (First concert by..., Death of ..., etc)
