Remote Desktop Error

Help! ****FIXED NOW! SEE BOTTOM POST****

 

I can't access any of the servers via Remote Desktop. I keep getting the error... "The pre-release version of remote desktop has expired...." it then tells me to go to Windows update and get the latest version.

 

The problem is that there are no Remote Desktop updates on Windows Update and after downloading Remote Desktop seperatley it wont install.

 

Any ideas?

What version of Windows?

Xp Professional.

If I remember the version or Remote desktop was a preview to the Vista version when IE7 and WM11 came out last year.

Have you install SP3 beta or RC1?

SP3 installed and all updates applied

FIXED!

Thanks, I replaced the files mstscax.dll and mstsc.exe and after a reboot all worked.
