Caching Server size

Does anyone who uses Caching Server know the best way of telling the size of the Cache, and where it is located? I'm slightly confused as it saying its 97GB but the storage on the Mac hasn't had more than 50GB taken up!

According to Apple:

The default location for cached content is the boot volume. You can choose an alternate location and specify how much of the volume is used by content caching. When the disk space for the cached content reaches the maximum you specified, or when the available space on the volume runs low, the content cache deletes content that hasn’t been used recently to make space for the next request.

 

I'm not sure exactly where in the boot volume, they've kept that to themselves - along with how to choose an alternate location.

 

I've noticed a similar thing with Profile Manager too. According to the Apps screen, there are 16 apps totalling 16.5GB - i.e. about 1GB per app. However, Garage Band is the only app over 1GB.

FYI Found this in the latest macOS version (13.4), Activity monitor now has a tab for the caching server!
