Since Link2ICT moved over from McAfee to Netsweeper https://www.netsweeper.com/education-web-filtering/netsweeper-welcomes-link2ict/ there have been a few teething problems mainly with the SSL inspection.

It seems from a incident responce that they may be planning to enforce SSL inspection for all schools not just the ones who opted in.

Presumabley this means that all BYOD devices wil have the have the BGfL CA certificate installed.

I think teething problems are an understatement. My workload has pretty much doubled thanks to this migration!

I think enforcing SSL inspection is a long way off, given that without it connectivity is unstable and the amount of caching related issues has gone through the roof. I've been forced to send out a user guide, guiding users on how to delete their browser cache.
