Am interested in moving from on-Prem S4B to cloud.

Has anyone got skype running in cloud for telephone system? How reliable is it, and how many users to you have?

Our on prem is made up of 11 servers, fully load balanced plus redundant perverse proxy boxes, so getting rid would remove a load of work, but wonder how reliable it is in cloud.

Can only speak from the single account i have but never had a problem and they are adding lots of features.

 

The porting of the number was my biggest worry but if you have everything setup correctly, Microsoft move the number at the time they state and calls just started coming to the new location

Wow how big is your setup?! We run it globally and at most have about 8 VMs tops in a site and that is a large site with Edge, Web App Server etc.. so sounds like you over-spec'd it big time on the boxes unless you have thousands of users?
