Hello Fellows,

Please what is the best way to deploy shared drives using group policy?

My setup is server 2012r2 and clients are windows 7 and windows 10.

I do know the normal group policy :user configuration/preference/shortcuts/filled the pop up box .Action column is set to create.

I would like a situation whereby users don't see the path ie \\serverb\studentsshare . I would like them to see G:studentshare

Please how do I accomplish this. I precise guide will be appreciated.

Thanks All

For Home folders use the field in Active Directory, lots of other programs use that as the reference.

For shared drives, use group policy preferences.

As mentioned, these are well documented on the Internet.
