Reporting reviews on Google for Business page

Someone has left some inappropriate "reviews" on our Google for Business page - you know, the page which comes up on the right when you search for a business. We have flagged this to Google, who have removed one of them but left the other up. I can sort of see why they think it is a valid review, but given some context (which I can't discuss), we disagree. Has anyone had any success getting these removed, or even making contact with an actual human who we could discuss it with?

Short answer no. If Google see it as a valid review even if negative then nothing you can do. We have had the same. What we did was ask various ex students that we trusted to review the school and push the unsavoury one down the list. You have the right to reply to the review but you won't get it removed if Google don't agree.

My issue isn't with a negative review, that's freedom of speech and fine. My issue is the review refers to an incident which is currently under investigation and I have been advised to get it taken down if I can.
