Hi All

We have YouTube filtered for Years 7-11, Sixth form have access to it. What some Year 11's have discovered they are able to do is search for a video in Google (e.g. Ed Sheeran). Google will then return a YouTube video URL (e.g.

). They then use one of the many YouTube video download websites (e.g. https://www.converto.io/) to then copy the URL and download the video/mp3 to there user areas.

Has anyone managed to stop this, if so how?

File Server Resource Manager (FSRM) will prevent users from saving file types you nominate.

With FSRM enabled if you specify that they cannot save MP3 files in their home folders, then they will not be able to do it.
