fiza Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 (edited) We have just ordered a time lapse camera which takes 6 x High Capacity 'C' batteries. Need the camera to take 1 photo every 30 minutes during daylight hours for approx 2 month duration. Anyone recommend a good brand for High Capacity batteries that will last that long? JordanT91 Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 You're not really going to get any better than these. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Duracell-Plus-Power-Alkaline-Batteries/dp/B005KP755S 1

Someone recommended Lithium batteries but I can't find any C ones. Apparently Energizer do AA and AAA but not C in Lithium.

I personally wouldn't mess about with lithium-ion batteries in a C size, they all seem to be unbranded Chinese ones. Get the Ultra Power ones, and maybe only take one photo every hour? 1
crc-ict Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 (edited) Years ago I used to have some adaptors that would convert AA rechargable batteries into a C size. Don't know if you can still get hold of them, but if so, might be an option to use those with some lithium* AAs EDIT: yes, they are still available: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Energy-SistemTM-Battery-NNaturaTM-Converter/dp/B000U57Y4A/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1518181980&sr=8-2&keywords=AA+to+C+adaptor&dpID=51t8vKPx2JL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch *meaning the Lithium disposable-type batteries (eg these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Energizer-Ultimate-Lithium-AA-Batteries/dp/B000IWW1G6) not Li-Ion rechargable which are a different voltage altogether.
