witch Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 I am after a charger for a Toshiba Sat Pro C850-173 Yes, I realise postage will be quite a lot but it might be a bit less than the cheapest one I can find online, which is £10. It is a 19V 3.42A with a small jack that I am unable to size. the Tosh chargers fits a Fujitsu A544 in case anyone has one of those!
hallb15 Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 I'll have a look in my box of chargers. I'm in meetings this morning 'til about 11 but I can look after that for you. We used to have trolleys full of Tosh Sat Pros so its likely I have one somewhere... 1
hallb15 Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 (edited) Sorry for the delay. The only chargers I have with matching power output are Liteon PA-1650-02 19V 3.42A centre positive. Small yellow ring on the tip of the plug. I believe these came from old Acers and I think the plug tip is too small for the Toshibas. Here's a photo if it helps: I used to get my Tosh spares from CBC Computers in Sheffield - it may be worth giving them a try. Its a PA-1650-81 you need. Saladin Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 I have got a Delta Electronics R33030 with the same rating as needed. The plug is the same as the one above with the yellow tip but thinner.
HTCPCP Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 If my memory serves me correctly, it's also the same charger for RM, VeryPC, Fujitsu and Stone Laptops (I am assuming the Toshiba is a clevo design based on the other laptops they work with) as we have interchanged them in the past
witch Posted January 31, 2018 Author Posted January 31, 2018 The problem I have is that I have no idea how big the jack is. If anyone can identify it I would be very grateful. Looks pretty small to me and yes, it definitely is the same as the Fujitsu A544 as we have one that has had to use the Tosh charger as its own has gone missing. Hence I need a Tosh charger!
