titch Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 I am by no means an IOS expert but assumed I should be able to figure this out. We use papercut on our BYOD devices and students need to authenticate to print. This works perfectly well but if have had a couple of students who we have needed to "un-authenticate" . The only way we have figured to be able to do this is change change their password in AD which then forces them to re-auth. I thought this would be in the keychain or something but I cant find anything anywhere so ios will forget the printing passwords! Thanks

Do you have a secondary print server on a Mac or do you use Mobility Print? Mobility Print should ask for the username and password each time if i remember correctly!
titch Posted January 25, 2018 Author Posted January 25, 2018 Yep using mobility print. The printers are published. It saves for us on ios indefinately and 14 days I think on Android.
DalekSec Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 So found i've the user login duration, : Program Files (x86)\PaperCut Mobility Print\data\config\mobility-print.conf.toml The default is 7 days by looks of it 1
andy_b Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 In the "printer selection" page on iOS can you tap the blue circled i and then tap "Forget Username and Password" ? 1
titch Posted January 25, 2018 Author Posted January 25, 2018 Cheers All. After a bit of digging around..... It seems in IOS pre IOS 10 it doesnt allow us to "forget username and password" but 10 and on do so I am assuming this is a bug. Also thanks @DalekSec I didnt realise that was a seting we could change.
