Remove "Show Hidden Icons"

Hi all, we have some student laptops which have deslock encryption running on them. Thing is, the deslock icon appears in the notification area in the "Show Hidden Icons" area (the little upward arrow next to the clock and date). I've had a search around our GPO's and can only find an option to hide the notification area, but this also hide the battery meter. Does anyone know a way (preferably via gpo) to either hide the "Show Hidden Icons" link, or only show the battery meter and date/time?

It would have to be a Deslock option, not a Windows option. Why do you want to hide it?

Just so the students can't log out of desklock and or change any settings.

Surely you can set a password, what version?

In the notification tray there is a deslock icon, right clicking it give the student access to various settings such as FDE, key manager etc. I'd rather just try to hide all this so they're not tempted to play.
