Good Afternoon All,

Not sure if this is a simple one or not, but are the language specific ADMXs required if you want a foreign language setup computer, or is that only for the foreign language based admin who needs to read them in such language? As an example, will an English admx still manage a Russian Win10 machine or did you "need" the Russian admx for that?

thanks,

Steve

^ This. :)

The language resource files, .adml, provide the language specific information needed by the language neutral file. The language neutral file will then reference specific sections of the language resource file in order for the GPMC or Local Group Policy Editor to display a policy setting in the correct language.
