Equation Editor removed with January 2018 updates

A heads up from something we've experienced today.

 

Due to a vulnerability in the Equation Editor app, Microsoft has decided to remove the program completely from all versions of Microsoft Office that are receiving patches.

While this doesn't affect the creation or editing of documents using the integrated equation function, any historic documents with equations in created using Equation Editor can no longer be edited without a 3rd party app or patch.
