Assign house points per house

Good morning,

 

We use SIMS and have four houses. We would like to assign eg. 50 house points to a house rather than to individual students.

I've trawled through SIMS and cannot find a way to do this.

Does anyone have any ideas?

SIMS does not have the functionality to record any house points, it only has the functionality to record individual student's achievement points.

You can either get a 3rd party product that does house points or you can fudge SIMS by creating a guest pupil with the name of the house and a date of birth a long time ago (e.g. 1/1/1900) so if it does accidentally get on to some report it will be obvious it shouldn't be there. This is very much a fudge and will cause some anomalies and thus not recommended, but it is how some schools have chosen to get around the issue.

It can sum to a house but as above can only assign to individuals
