speckytecky Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 I'm having problems getting a new generation iPad to print to a Dell 1350 CNW printer. An old Windows laptop prints to the Dell fine and the printer spits out settings okay including IP address. The inbuilt print option on the iPad doesn't pull up the Dell as an option. Going to the Apps Store most of the other printer manufacturers offer a free App but there doesn't seem to be one from Dell. Any recommendations or suggestions, please?
MatthewL Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 I cannot find anything to say the printer is AirPrint certified. Does it even support AirPrint, devices have to be certified from Apple, if you go to the web interface is there any option to enable or disable AirPrint? 1
speckytecky Posted January 17, 2018 Author Posted January 17, 2018 Thanks for that. Something for me to explore next time I pop around to that particular aged persons house. I cannot find anything to say the printer is AirPrint certified. Does it even support AirPrint, devices have to be certified from Apple, if you go to the web interface is there any option to enable or disable AirPrint?
