OneNote Desktop App Error.

When creating a Notebook on OneNote online and using the "Open in app" button the following error occurs and will not open the notebook.

 

"We couldn't open that location. It might not exist or you might not have permission to open it."

 

The NoteBook is saved on a shared OneDrive for business for colleagues to access too, but they are also having the same issue. The destination folder that is also listed on the error message is pointing to the correct place and the permissions are set to "Can edit" for everyone.

 

Cannot figure this out so, any help appreciated.
